The Genshin Impact Material Planner is a tool that allows you to log your inventory and compare in real time their effects on your planned goals for level progression in Genshin Impact. The tool is entirely made in HTML and Javascript so it can be used offline.
- Using the button on headers will minimize that section. Using the button will maximize the section.
- Click on a character portrait at the bottom to add that character to your planner. Inputs will calculate what you need to achieve your goals.
- Clicking on a character portrait within the planner itself will breakdown what that character needs to get to the point you've specified.
- All planned characters are grouped up for your convenience and the total materials needed are displayed in the middle. This takes into account what items you've inputted already into the inventory.
- Clicking on the character experience icon will breakdown what character experience materials you will need to reach that point. An extrenuous Wanderer's Advice is used for values that cannot be divided by 1000.
- The planner will also take into account extrenuous materials of a lower tier that would be more useful as a higher tier, such as elemental gems, monster drops and talent books. When the planner considers this, it will tell you what materials you should craft to achieve your goal.
The planner will attempt to calculate how much Original Resin you will need to achieve your goal by weighing the materials against the drop rates of resin required drops. This isn't perfect, many of the drop rates are guesstimated and luck will always be a factor in whether or not you will need more or less Original Resin than the planner states. It is to be used as a general guide, nothing more.
Your planner state, which includes your inventory and planned character goals, are saved to your browser's local storage, which works based on the domain you access the planner from. If you download the planner and access it from there, the save file will be different. When you load the saved planner state, all the inputs are set for you and you can pick up from where you left off.
