Advance Quest

Overview

  • Quest Requirements:
    • You must pay a certain amount of Advance Capsules in the campship to be able to participate in Advance Quests.
    • The party leader can choose to pay for all members or for each member to pay on their own.
    • Any capsules you paid to start the quest will not be refunded when the mission ends prematurely.
    • This applies to the quest failure or any disconnection issues (Error 630).

  • Advance Capsules:
    • Advance Capsules can also drop from enemies within the Advance Quests.
    • The capsules could randomly drop from any enemy, but a specific capsule can only drop from certain areas.
    • This prevents you from spamming the same area again and again until you've accumulated enough capsules.
    • These quests are designed so you must rotate between 3 stages to get capsules for your next run and not run out.
    • A sample rotation would be Forest → Volcano → Desert.
① Use Advance Capsule a to start Forest and collect Advance Capsule b along the way.
② Use the Advance Capsule b you've collected to start Volcano and collect Advance Capsule c along the way.
③ Use the Advance Capsule c you've collected to start Desert and collect Advance Capsule a along the way.
        ④ Repeat from step ①.

  • Risk Accumulation:
    • Successfuly completing an area will increase its risk by 1.
    • Accumulating high risk will make enemies stronger by increasing the infection rate, rare enemy appearance rate and level.
    • Boosted enemies do not only have higher attack power and HP, they also have higher drop rates. This increases the chance that you'll get better items.
    • Risk will be applied based on the party leader's accumulated risk. So make sure your party leader have the highest risk among you.
    • Risk will also reset back to zero after exactly 7 days or 168 hours since you received your initial risk.

  • Enemy Spawn:
    • Monsters in this quest will not respawn, which limits the amount of enemies you can hunt.
    • Exceptions to the rule above are Emergency Trials and PSE Bursts which could potentially spawn enemies until it's over.
    • Be careful when completing E-Trials while enemies are nearby, as clearing the trial will cause them to run away and despawn.
    • Darker Abduction and Parallel Areas will not trigger in these type of quest.

  • Boss Battle:
    • Unlike most quests, the boss area is randomized between two types of bosses. Tunnels being an exception with only Big Vardha.
    • Most type-1 bosses increase in number based on the player count in your party. Goronzoran and Vardha Soma being the only exception.
    • Appearance of rare bosses will increase based on risk accumulated.
